Is it stupid to wear a college hoodie for any random college?

I want a new hoodie, but you sure as hell won't catch me wearing anything that says "HOLLISTER" or "SO CAL" across the chest anytime soon, like everyone else in this stupid town. I have my fair share of DC or Burton hoodies because I snowboard. But now I really want a college hoodie just because in my opinion they're stylish and nice. The thing is, I'm not really into any college sports, and I'm in highschool so I don't attend college.
